Republic of Türkiye ID Cards were presented to 371 Meskhetian Turkish families in the Ahlat district of Bitlis.

President of Migration Management Muhammet Selami Yazıcı, Director General of Population and Citizenship Affairs Mehmet Levent Kepçeli, General Director of Foreigners Özge Kaplan, Head of the Department of Support Services of the Ministry of Interior Levent Yazıcı, Head of Strategy Development of the Ministry of Interior Mehmet Parlak, and Head of the Department of Citizenship Services of the Directorate General of Population and Citizenship Affairs Abdullah Özübek visited Meskhetian Turks in their new homes in Ahlat.

During the visit, Republic of Türkiye ID cards were presented to 371 Meskhetian Turkish families.

Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi stated the following in his post on his social media account:

"We are happy to contribute to 371 more of our Meskhetian Turkish families, whom we host in our temporary accommodation center, reuniting with their homes. I wish a peaceful life in their new homes to our kin community to whom we have presented the Republic of Türkiye identity cards."
