ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION PROCESS OF RESIDENCE PERMIT

In order to provide more efficient service, e-residence appointment system is changed and improved. Due to the system update, at the pre-registration information for all the residence permit first time applications need to be updated “Passport Number At the Entrance to Turkey” and “Insurance Information”.

For those foreigners who will apply for a residence permit only in Province/District of Istanbul, and Provience of Ankara, the automatic “appointment date and time” will be determined by the system and will be sent according to the communication choice you have chosen.

The application for the residence registration of the foreigners, who already have made a residence permit request from the Istanbul Provincial Migration Management on the e-residence appointment system, must be updated their information as of April 10, 2018 as soon as possible. Upon completion of the update process, the appointment date to be automatically determined by the system in the following days and you will be informed to you according to your communication preference. The update process will not cause any loss of rights considering your first registration date.
