E-residence, which was implemented by the Directorate General of Migration Management on the 18th of May 2015 has drawn heavy attention in a short span of time. For the first time or extension applications for residence permit has begun to made on e-residence.

73.376 foreigners were issued a residence permit and their documents were sent to their addresses by post from May18, 2015 until August 5, 2015. In the same period of 2014, this number was 45.706.

These numbers mean to have an increase by 57.25% and the measures with the encouragement of regular migration are successful in our country. These numbers are trying to be increased through devoted work of staff of the Directorate General of Migration Management.
